This chubby, friendly fellow just loves attention. He will be a little shy at first, but loves to be cuddled and petted too much to remain aloof for too long! He does not shed much at all but still loves to be brushed. Izzy gets along with everybody but is happiest with a one on one relationship with his human. Hasn't met a cat yet that he doesn't get along with but he really prefers human contact! He will play some but prefers to just be loved and petted.

Izzy was suffering from hypothermia when he as found, and he truly is a miracle cat to have survived! Izzy is extremely easy to get along with and would be a loving companion and a good friend.

Izzy doesn't tolerate stress well. He would be a wonderful companion for one or two adults in a home where children are infrequent visitors. He has been treated for a chronic virus infection in his eyes which caused scarring of his tear ducts and his one eye will "weep" sometimes. (This causes him litle discomfort and no surgery or further medication was recommended by the opthamologist). The virus is not transmissible to humans and only rarely transmissible to cats that are up to date on their vaccinations (and then in a mild version).
